The power of telly eh? While Brendan O'Carroll has always been popular in Liverpool, a single series of shows on BBC1 has shot Agnes Brown and her 'boys' into the stratosphere of arena tours.
Now it appears a pre-Christmas run of old favourite Good Mourning Mrs Brown at the Liverpool Empire has sold out in just a day and they've had to put on an extra matinee show.
So Sir Peter Maxwell Davies, the Master of the Queen's Music, has suggested fining people who use their phones during concerts.
Good for him!
Luckily I have never actually heard anyone take a call during an RLPO concert at the Philharmonic Hall, but you do hear the irritating bleep and ring of phones going off on a regular basis.
As a certain Delta Nu sorority would say - Ohmygodyouguys!
I spent yesterday in London interviewing cast members of the first-ever UK tour of West End smash hit musical Legally Blonde - before watching the show at the Savoy theatre in the afternoon.
