david morrissey and peter serafinowicz in conversation - but not together

By Catherine Jones on Nov 25, 10 11:40 AM

Were you one of those who caught the David Morrissey 'in conversation' at St George's Hall last night?
Alas, I wasn't able to go which was very annoying as he's an intelligent and interesting speaker, while Gemma Aldcroft and Karen Podesta of Club Geek Chic, who put on the event, deserve success for all their hard work bringing the 'in conversation' evenings together.

I also understand that they have their next subject all lined up for January - it's just the date that they are trying to pin down.
Former SFX schoolboy Peter Serafinowicz will make a rare public appearance in his home city to talk about his life and career, and choose his favourite songs to be performed live by Liverpool singers and musicians.
Actor, comedian, writer, composer....should be a wide-ranging conversation, and of course he's doing very well Stateside too currently with a role alongside Will Arnett in the FOX sitcom Running Wilde.
Then there's the new 3D remake of Yellow Submarine, due to be released in 2012, in which he's voicing the role of Paul McCartney.
I wonder if there will be any Fab Four on his list of favourite songs performed on the evening? We'll have to wait and see.
Meanwhile David Morrissey had the Real Thing's You to Me Are Everything among his choices.

I was lucky enough to see David Morrissey last night and can confirm you missed an excellent evening. The music and conversation were complemented by the venue

I recently saw a video of this and it indeed was great!
