But don't forget, the Echo will also be revealing the winner online at 6.30pm on its website www.liverpoolecho.co.uk as we will have had the results (embargoed of course) from lunchtime the same day!
The exhibition will feature 45 artists shortlisted from 3000 entrants. Each are in with a chance of winning the ã25,000 first prize or four runner-up prizes of ã2,500 each.
The paintings will be on display at the Walker Art Gallery from September 18 to January 3.
The competition forms a key strand of the Liverpool Biennial.
Organisers of the prize are also encouraging people to join in with the discussion on Twitter using the #JM2010 hashtag.
'Tweets' will form part of a stream of conversation published on the broadcast page in the run up to and during the live broadcast.
