ghost stories get a west end run
Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson's creepy Ghost Stories is heading for the West End I hear today.
The hit show, a joint production between the Everyman and the Lyric Hammersmith, will open at the Duke of York's theatre on June 25.
The move follows sold out shows at both Liverpool (where it was premiered earlier this year) and the Lyric.
I'm very pleased for both Andy and Jeremy, who not only wrote Ghost Stories (after plotting to work together since they were 15 and in summer school together) but also direct it. Plus of course Andy plays the narrator on stage.
Go and see it. You may be freaked, you may not. But as I said in my review, you can't help but admire its clever construction
