spamalot is the latest musical coming to the Liverpool Empire
Hurrah - news has just come in that Monty Python gigglefest Spamalot is on its way to Liverpool this summer.
The hot-hoofing Arthurian spoof will be at the Empire for a week in August.
In fact fans of the musical genre are spoilt for choice this summer with Spamalot the latest in a line of all-singing, all-dancing shows arriving in Liverpool.
At the Empire, Spamalot is sandwiched in between the truly scrumptuous Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the truly outrageous Hairspray, while later in the year they'll be climbing every musicals mountain with The Sound of Music.
And if that weren't enough, Oklahoma starts in a couple of weeks, then the new Neil Sedaka-tuned Laughter In the Rain arrives, and then Blood Brothers is back.
Meanwhile over at the ECHO arena they've got a little production called....Mamma Mia!
Get those glad rags on and those vocal chords in training.
