peter serafinowicz signs up for "in conversation with" at Liverpool Cathedral
Good for Gemma and Karen, the enterprising pair behind the "In Conversation With" series of evenings due to start at Liverpool Cathedral this month with Janice Long.
I hear they've signed up Liverpool-born comedian/actor/writer/voice artist Peter Serafinowicz to take part later in the year.
Apparently he was very keen to take part in the event, which involved Desert Island Discs-style chat interspersed with five of his favourite songs performed in acoustic fashion by up-and-coming Liverpool musicians.
Mike McCartney and David Morrissey have also agreed to take part during the year, and I know Gemma has some other big names with local connections that she's in contact with about future events.
Janice Long kicks off proceedings on March 25, and then I hear she'll be doing her late night Radio 2 show from Liverpool afterwards.
Tickets for her In Conversation With... are £15 and are available from the cathedral shop, on 0151-702 7255 or by visiting www.liverpool cathedral. org.uk
