winkler watch gets a mention in the new york times!
THE Echo's Winkler Watch - where readers call or email in with their sightings of the Happy Days star - has got a namecheck in the New York Times.
The American paper did an intereview with our own Captain Hook - very amusing to see how panto is explained to non-Brits.
In it, it quoted some of my Daily Post colleague Laura Davis's review of Peter Pan currently running at the Empire.
Then it said: "The Liverpool Echo chronicles sightings around town in a "Winkler Watch" column.
Happy Days indeed!
