brendan cole asks not to be judged for his singing

By Catherine Jones on Dec 31, 09 01:24 PM

Well we know he's not fond of some of the comments made about his partner's dancing on Strictly.
But "bad boy of ballroom" Brendan Cole has asked to be judged kindly for his singing when he comes to the Empire with his "Live and Unjudged" tour next week.

I caught up with the Kiwi shortly before Christmas and mentioned that I'd be coming to review his show on January 11, part of which was giving him a mark out of ten.
"I'm not the best singer in the world, I'd never claim to be, I'm not going out there to give people 'wow, that's the most amazing performance I've ever seen', but it's something I love and something that's very much part of me," he told me.
"That's where the unjudged bit comes in actually - you're not allowed to judge my singing!
Get your low paddles out for that one!"
Ah bless! Do I channel the spirit of Craig Revel-Horwood? Or shall I be Len Goodman kind?
We'll have to wait and see.
Meanwhile, you can read my full chat with Brendan in tomorrow's 24/7
