spider!

I have to admit, I was worried.
Right up until this morning we were going to try and keep the mystery going about the identity of the La Machine creature, and I was wondering quite how to do that when it was there for everyone to see.
But when I saw it I realised there was no denying it any more - it's quite obviously a spider.
I was there at about 7.30am and there were more media and La Machine people there at first than members of the public.
That didn't last for long as word spread and soon there were quite a lot of people standing in Lime Street with cameras and phones, all snapping away.
Luckily I don't suffer from arachnophobia (I can actually pick up spiders although I'm not sure how I'd feel about a tarantula for example), but I know some people do so...let's hope it won't put them off coming to see "La Princess".
Things will be happening a bit later on today so keep your eyes peeled. And of course, read our updates in the Echo and on the web
