Princess Anne was in town earlier this week to officially open the new Victoria Art Gallery and Museum at Liverpool University.
It's been a busy time for royal visits with the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh last Thursday and then their only daughter barely a week later.
The £8.6m gallery and museum opens to the public on June 30 and it will be free to visit which is great news.
The Princess Royal spent an hour there on Wednesday and by all accounts she was particularly interested in the skeleton they have of 1897 and 1899 Grand National winner Manifesto.
You don't win equestrian medals at the Olympics for nothing, and apparently the keen horsewoman was very impressed with the exhibit.
But she did spot one flaw.
It appears one of Manifesto's front legs has been attached back-to-front! Which would of course make those two National wins even more amazing!!
No horse has run in the Grand National more times than Manifesto, who competed in eight renewals of the event between 1895 and 1904.
Apart from winning the race twice, Manifesto finished third on three occasions.
Culture Secretary Andy Burnham was also at the opening - he's around in Liverpool a lot these days, which hopefully is good news for the city as we career towards the half-way mark in Capital of Culture year.
In fact, he's here so much I joked which should start a "find Andy" in the Echo much in the way papers used to run "find Fred" or "where's Wally" competitions.
I suspect he may be at Anfield on Sunday if anyone wants to win a tenner.....
