Who can forget Aled Jones as a ruffle-wearing, verging on pudding basin-haired singing poppet?
Certainly not all those who no doubt still torment the Welshman with falsetto versions of Walking in the Air.
Now a 37-year-old, Jones was the star turn at the Welsh Choral Union's St David's Day concert at the Philharmonic Hall on Saturday.
He sang in both English and Welsh, and his rousing finale - with the choir - of Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau - left the audience giving a standing ovation and calling for more.
It was touch and go as to whether the Radio 2 Sunday presenter would come back, but eventually he did.
Mind you, it would have been a little churlish to ignore the wild clapping and roof-lifting cheers.
Incidently, the gossip in the ladies loos during the interval was about the baritone's reputed appearance fee with figures of £30,000 being bandied about.
