Better late than never.
I meant to write about my ascent of the new One Park West building last week, but time somehow ran away from me.
I have my own views on quite a bit of the building work currently going on in Liverpool (!) but I have to admit, the views from the top of the "prow of the ship" part of this Grosvenor building are pretty spectacular.
No wonder the apartments in the triangular end of the building went like the proverbial hot cakes.

We were taken up (in the usual unflattering array of hard hats, yellow tabbards and wellies) in a lift which rises up the outside of the structure.
Good thing the wind had dropped.
It was still pretty cold at the top, but the views were stunning, from the Welsh hills just peeping over the distant horizon to the Albert Dock, the tops of the Three Graces, and the sunlight glistening off the water on the line of docks stretching up towards Dingle.
