superlamby

You either love it or hate it....and I am firmly in the former camp.
How can you not adore the wonderful, unique Superlambanana?

Well, I say unique, but as you can see - lamby is multiplying for Capital of Culture.
The Wild in Art group is hoping to put up to 100 large copies (5ft 10in) of the iconic statue around Liverpool in a super trail.
They want businesses to get behind the scheme and sponsor a Superlambanana which will be decorated by different artists and by the community.
And I hope they do back it in their droves because I really believe this is going to be a fantastic project.
The first 30 undecorated lambys have arrived in assorted sizes (word is some of the smaller ones may go to schools and the like) and are waiting for the project to begin.
I was there to see them unpacked and as you can see I couldn't quite bear to be parted from this little lamb.
Keep your eyes peeled - if you'll excuse the mildly excruciating pun - in the Echo later this month for more details on the project.
